MFAA upgrades its Find a Broker website

The MFAA has upgraded its Find a Broker website, introducing new features designed to help brokers attract and connect with clients more effectively.

The enhanced platform includes expanded broker profiles, richer search functionality, and a range of interactive tools aimed at improving the borrower experience.

Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) accredited brokers can now showcase themselves with profile photos, short videos, website and social media links, and details such as the geographical areas they service, languages spoken, meeting preferences, gender, and First Nations identification.

Consumers can also contact brokers directly via lead forms, with brokers receiving email notifications containing the prospect’s details.

MFAA-accredited brokers will now display a badge highlighting their advanced professional education.

MFAA CEO Anja Pannek said the revitalised Find a Broker website will help MFAA-accredited brokers reach new clients in a competitive market, while strengthening relationships with existing ones.

“We have delivered the leading platform for all prospective and existing Australian borrowers to find a broker, based on their individual needs,” Pannek said.

“We have upgraded Find a Broker to be a borrower-first one-stop destination that educates and builds borrower confidence. Borrowers want more than just a list of names; they want to know more about their broker, who they can trust and what to expect.

“Every MFAA member can decide what information they want featured on their profile and take the opportunity to stand out by telling potential clients more about themselves, while borrowers will get richer search results, making it easier for them to find a broker that matches their needs.”

On the website, borrowers can currently access deeper search filters, a movable map, new borrower education content, and a dedicated Borrower Hub. The hub features tools such as a Home Loan Readiness Check, Australian Home Buying Schemes Explorer, repayment, and refinancing calculators, as well as guidance on open banking, scams, and cyber security. Member videos explaining the broking process are also available.

The upgraded website has been launched ahead of the MFAA’s national consumer campaign, scheduled to commence in March 2026.

“There is plenty of time for members to update their profiles in advance of the MFAA consumer campaign, so they can benefit directly,” Pannek added.
