The partnership will provide Purple Circle brokers with access to Arc Money’s private credit offering while also supporting them with training on how to identify, structure, and place non-coded scenarios.
Founded in 2024, Arc Money specialises in lending to company and trust clients. The lender provides finance across a range of non-coded lending segments, including low-care NDIS lending, residential (for business and investment purposes) and commercial loans of up to $15 million, construction and development finance, and lending secured by specialised assets.
The appointment to Purple Circle follows Arc Money’s recent recruitment of private credit specialist Tony Barbone as head of distribution, who will lead the lender’s broker distribution and education strategy.
Barbone brings experience across private lending, funds management, and secured commercial lending and will work with Purple Circle on education covering where private credit can sit alongside traditional and non-bank lending.
“I am excited to be rolling out Arc Money’s suite of private credit solutions to Purple Circle brokers who need help settling non-NCCP scenarios,” Barbone said.
“Private credit is becoming an increasingly important part of a broker’s toolkit. Our goal is not simply to provide another lender option, but to give brokers the knowledge and confidence to recognise when a scenario belongs in private credit and understand how to structure it effectively.”
Education as part of the appointment
As a Purple Education Partner, Arc Money will provide ongoing education and practical training to Purple Circle’s broker network, with a focus on commercial, business-purpose, and asset-backed lending.
Purple Circle director Frank Paratore said the partnership would give brokers access to both private credit solutions and specialist knowledge.
“We are pleased to welcome Arc Money to the Purple Circle lender panel and to have them join us as a Purple Education Partner,” Paratore said.
“Tony brings significant practical experience in private credit, and we are looking forward to working closely with him and the Arc Money team to deliver quality education to our broker network.
“As more brokers look to diversify into commercial and non-NCCP lending, having specialists who can help them understand the opportunities, risks and structuring considerations is incredibly valuable.”
Arc Money specialises in non-NCCP, business-purpose private credit, providing real estate-backed lending for borrowers who may require greater speed, flexibility, or a more commercial approach than traditional lending channels.
Barbone said the education program would also focus on helping brokers identify private credit opportunities within their existing client bases.
“There is a substantial opportunity for brokers in the non-NCCP market, but education is the bridge. When brokers understand what makes a strong private credit scenario, they can have better conversations with their clients and bring us scenarios that can actually get funded,” Barbone said.
The partnership will include webinars, training, and scenario-based learning for Purple Circle brokers.
