Plenti names new head of commercial

Digital non-bank lender Plenti has appointed a new head of commercial.

Peter Siokos has been announced as the lender’s new head of commercial, bringing more than 25 years of experience across bank and non-bank lending to the role.

Siokos spent 16 years at Bank of Queensland, working across the lender’s commercial and asset finance operations, before most recently leading asset finance sales at SME lender ScotPac.

He will now lead Plenti’s commercial team and oversee its commercial strategy, including its relationships with brokers and introducers and the ongoing development of its commercial lending offering.

Plenti CEO Adam Bennett said the appointment would bolster the lender’s commercial team.

“We’re delighted to welcome Peter to Plenti. This appointment brings a wealth of experience in commercial asset finance to the team, reflecting our continued investment in the commercial team’s growth. We’re excited to build on the momentum we’ve created in this space,” he said.

Bennett was appointed as CEO in 2024.

Appointment follows record quarter

The appointment comes as Plenti continues to build out its commercial lending operations, having recorded a strong start to 2026.

After a restructuring of the team last year, Plenti posted record quarterly loan originations in the June quarter.

The lender originated $536 million in loans during the three months to 30 June 2026, up 22 per cent year on year and 13 per cent on the previous quarter, with each of its three lending divisions recording its strongest quarter on record.

Plenti said that consumer demand across its key lending segments, which include automotive, renewable energy, and personal lending, all held firm despite ongoing economic uncertainty.
