MQG Lending, Money Quest’s white label lending arm launched in April this year, has introduced ProtectQ, a referral hub covering risk and general insurance.
ProtectQ brings together new partnerships with Merit Life, Huddle, and Howden Insurance, giving MQG members referral pathways across personal risk, general insurance, and private and commercial insurance.
So far, the offering includes:
- ProtectQ Risk Insurance, powered by Merit Life, covering personal risk products including life insurance, total and permanent disability (TPD) cover, and income protection.
- ProtectQ Private and Commercial Insurance, powered by Howden, covering complex commercial risks, private clients, and high-value assets and investments.
- ProtectQ General Insurance, powered by Huddle, covering home and contents, motor, and domestic travel insurance.
ProtectQ Risk Insurance and ProtectQ Private and Commercial Insurance will launch immediately, with ProtectQ General Insurance to follow in the coming weeks.
Alongside the referral program, the three partners will provide MQG members with support including webinars, seminars, product guides, and educational resources.
ProtectQ follows the launch of MQG Lending in April, which introduced a range of white label lending products in partnership with non-bank lenders RedZed and Brighten Home Loans, as well as mortgage fund Eastwood Securities.
MQG said that the expansion into insurance marks another step in the development of the business, broadening its offering beyond lending and into other areas of the client relationship.
“ProtectQ is the next step in our commitment to help members build stronger, more valuable businesses by supporting clients through more of their financial journey,” MQG general manager of business development Adrian Fisher said.
“By bringing trusted specialist partners together in one referral hub, we are giving members practical ways to deepen client relationships, improve retention and diversify revenue, while helping clients protect the people, property and businesses they have worked hard to build.”
