Mark Bouris makes Australia Day Honours List

Yellow Brick Road executive chairman Mark Bouris has been recognised in the Australia Day 2015 Honours List.

Mr Bouris was awarded an Order of Australia for “significant service to the finance industry, particularly the home loan mortgage sector, to education, and to charitable organisations”.

Mr Bouris has 25 years’ experience in the finance and property sectors, and is best known for founding Wizard Home Loans in 1996.

He also founded Yellow Brick Road in 2007, which reported a 27.3 per cent year-on-year jump in revenue to $31.7 million over 2013/2014.

Mr Bouris is also executive chairman of technology company TZ Limited, non-executive chairman of biotechnology company Anteo Diagnostics Limited and a board member of the Sydney Roosters rugby league club.

He is also the author of three business and finance books, and was the host of Australian TV shows The Apprentice and The Celebrity Apprentice.

Yellow Brick Road announced in 2013 that it had entered into a new five-year consultancy agreement with Mr Bouris until 2019.
