Bank welcomes new director

One of Australia’s regional banks has announced the appointment of a new non-executive director.

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank chairman Robert Johnson said Ms Harris’ “exceptional” experience across finance, markets and government, including the formation of public policy, will bring additional breadth and balance to the board.

“Until her recent retirement from the public service, Jan was a member of the Council of Financial Regulators, the Centre for International Finance and Regulation, the Financial Sector Advisory Committee and [on] the board of the Australian Reinsurance Committee of the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation,” Mr Johnson said.
