CBA appoints non-executive director
The major bank will welcome a new independent non-executive director on 1 September.
Julie Galbo is set to join the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s (CBA) board of directors on Wednesday (1 September).
Ms Galbo has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, risk management and compliance, and change management. She also has experience in strategy and implementation.
She is currently based in Norway, and is a board member of DNB Bank.
The chairman of the CBA board, Catherine Livingstone AO, commented: “On behalf of the board, I am delighted to announce Julie’s appointment, and to welcome her breadth of financial services expertise in her role as a non-executive director of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.”
