Assetline Capital has announced the appointment of Royden D’Vaz as general manager of distribution and partnerships and Jason Lucas as head of sales for commercial lending.

These new roles are part of a strategic move to bolster the lender’s growth and strengthen its commitment to brokers in the non-bank lending sector.

Nick Raphaely, co-CEO of AltX Group, said on the new appointments: “In line with our commitment to providing the best lending solutions to our brokers, we are proud to introduce these two roles to Assetline Capital.

“Assetline Capital has seen substantial growth in the past financial year, achieving a 57 per cent increase in total loan settlements including a 60 per cent increase in bridging loan settlements.

“These strategic roles are vital to our growth and commitment to providing exceptional service to our brokers and borrowers.”

In his new role, D’Vaz will focus on developing and nurturing existing and new broker partnerships, as well as overseeing product distribution nationwide.

D’Vaz expressed his enthusiasm: “Developing strong broker partnerships is at the core of what we do at Assetline.

“We hugely value our relationships with our brokers and aggregator partners, and I look forward to engaging with them and helping them leverage Assetline Capital’s range of lending solutions.”

Lucas, in his position as head of sales for commercial lending, will manage commercial loan origination and oversee Assetline’s construction and short-term products.

Reflecting on his appointment, Lucas said: “Since joining Assetline Capital in 2020, I’ve seen the brand grow from strength to strength in the commercial lending space.

“In just one year, we’ve opened a Queensland office, expanded our short-term product offerings, and introduced a $1 to $5 million construction product to the market.

“I’m excited to continue this success and offer more commercial lending solutions to our brokers.”

The new roles officially took effect on Monday, (12 August).

These appointments come as the non-bank lender bolstered its Victoria sales team with the appointment of Rose Natoli.

Natoli joined the lender’s Victorian team the week commencing 3 June 2024.

According to the lender, Natoli’s goal is to provide an “experienced point of contact for faster and easier approvals for brokers and their customers.

Prior to joining Assetline Capital, Natoli held the role of senior home lending specialist for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) following a tenure with Citi as a business development manager (BDM) for over a decade.

Prior to this, Natoli held the role of mobile lending manager at CBA for just under seven years.
