The company’s recent achievements include reaching a record $5.2 billion in settlements in May, alongside growing its broker network to over 3,500.
Simon Bednar, CEO of Finsure Group, highlighted the company’s impressive progress across all areas of the business.
“I am very proud of what Finsure has been able to deliver with our amazing network growth, bringing more than 800 brokers into the Group in the calendar year to date,” Bednar said.
“This has helped to significantly boost our loan book to cross the $120 billion milestone. We continue to invest in technology, launch new broker support services, and grow our amazing team to deliver the best offering possible.”
A key development in Finsure’s strategy is the recent appointment of asset finance specialist Elijah Swift as a business development manager.
Swift’s role will focus on expanding Finsure’s asset finance solutions and supporting the network of brokers in tapping into the growing asset finance space.
“Elijah is focused on expanding Finsure’s asset finance solutions to help our network of brokers tap into the growing asset finance space,” Bednar said.
“He is based in Sydney and has experience as both a lender BDM and as a broker himself.”
Bednar emphasised that enhancing expertise in asset finance allows brokers to stand out from competitors and provide additional value to customers and the Finsure network.
“Brokers who can navigate complex financial solutions and offer a holistic view on available financing options can help attract more customers and increase customer loyalty,” he said.
Promotion of 2 into expanded roles
This comes as Finsure appointed Sydney-based Noushig Megerditchian to the newly created role of head of sales – northern region, while Melbourne-based Chris Patsouras will be head of sales – southern region.
Megerditchian was a business development manager (BDM) for Finsure for almost nine years before entering her new role and was previously a business development executive for Loan Market between June 2014 and June 2015.
A former banker and broker, Patsouras’ previous role was state manager for Victoria/Tasmania/Western Australia/South Australia as well as the state business manager for Victoria.
Bednar said on the appointments: “We are seeing our market share increase across every state in Australia, welcoming more than 1,000 new brokers to our network in the last 24 months.
“Noushig and Chris have a deep understanding of their regions and will help drive further expansion.”
