Equipment and commercial finance brokerage, Astute Ability Finance Group, has pinpointed a major challenge facing many small-business owners: the lack of time and resources to explore the wide range of government services, grants, and training programs that could help improve their operations.
In order to address this hurdle, the team has created a comprehensive guide that brings together the most valuable programs available to Australian businesses, designed to boost efficiency and promote growth.
A recent survey conducted by the group revealed that many small-business owners find it difficult to navigate the complex maze of government offerings.
In response, Astute Ability Finance Group has researched and compiled a user-friendly guide with direct links to these programs, making it easier for businesses to access the support they need.
“We speak with hundreds of business owners each month, and our survey confirmed that time constraints and the complexity of finding relevant government services were major barriers,” said the founder and managing director of Astute Ability Finance Group, Mhairi MacLeod.
“We wanted to do the legwork and create a resource that would save business owners valuable time.
“The guide provides direct links to the main programs, making it a high-value tool for those who need support but aren’t sure where to start.”
For instance, the guide features a government department that offers over 40 grants and programs specifically tailored to the small business sector.
Additionally, it highlights initiatives focused on cyber security, expanding into international markets, and supporting technology-driven projects.
Many of these services remain underutilised by business owners, despite their potential to significantly aid in areas like employee training, funding, and enhancing digital capabilities.
“Our team spent months reviewing available services to ensure everything included is relevant to small business needs,” McLeod further said.
“I can’t imagine how small business owners would have the time to sift through all the information from different departments and websites.
“We wanted to create a guide that points them to the most relevant resources, so they can quickly evaluate what suits their business and take action.”
Astute Ability Finance Group is set to officially release the guide on Wednesday, 5 February and will be available for download on their website and promoted through a targeted campaign to thousands of small-business owners.
