Bluestone Home Loans has announced it will extend its 0.25 per cent p.a. discount on new home loan applications following the February monetary policy meeting rate cut last week (18 February).
The additional discount was originally set to expire on 28 February 2025; however, it will continue to be available for all new applications submitted until 7 March 2025.
According to the lender, this will mean brokers can access “even sharper rates” across its home loan range for their clients.
“The rate cut was a win for borrowers in unique situations, but we wanted to take it a step further,” said Aaron Taylor, Bluestone’s head of non-standard lending.
“Brokers are always looking for ways to support their clients, and extending this offer gives them another way to help more Australians secure the right loan for their next home.”
Bluestone thanks brokers for 25 years of support
The exclusive 0.25 per cent p.a. discount for brokers was originally launched as part of Bluestone’s celebration of 25 years in the industry.
The lender recognised brokers as a crucial part of its ongoing success, with the discount being an effort to thank brokers for their contributions.
Tony MacRae, chief commercial officer at Bluestone, said: “Our broker network has been instrumental to our success, and we see them as key partners in our continuing to make home loans accessible for more Australians.
“We strive to provide brokers and borrowers with solutions and choice and are excited to continue to work with Aggregators and Brokers that align in assuring a customer’s best interest is put at the forefront.”
The non-bank lender confirmed it will continue to invest in the broker channel with several new initiatives planned to roll out during 2025.
“We will continue to evolve, but our commitment to brokers and the clients remains unwavering – in 2025 we’re investing in our platforms, technology, and service that make the broker’s job easier and help them support more customers,” MacRae said.
