Home loan platform Lendi has announced the appointment of Zara Cobb as its new chief marketing officer (CMO), effective immediately.
Lendi noted that Ms Cobb will be responsible for driving growth in customer acquisition, finding optimisations in the customer journey and helping “shape Lendi into a household name”.
Prior to joining Lendi, Ms Cobb held senior roles in media agencies, and she most recently served as head of strategy and analytics at Blue 449.
Commenting on the appointment, David Hyman, managing director and co-founder of Lendi, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome someone of Zara’s calibre to the Lendi family. Our priority is encouraging everyday Australians to make better informed decisions on one of their biggest living expenses: their home loans.
“With Zara’s experience and a refreshed focus on our marketing efforts, there’s a real opportunity for us to take a larger share of the $1.7 trillion home loan industry and, more importantly, help Australians find better home loans.”
Ms Cobb added: “More Australians are looking to digital alternatives in lieu of the traditional mortgage broking process. People want options and transparency without compromising on time or convenience. Lendi has the perfect balance of human expertise and smart technology, allowing people to find a better deal.
“It’s such an exciting time to join the Lendi business, and I look forward to playing a key role in continuing Lendi’s upward trajectory.”
