Following the appointment of Martin Pretty to the company’s board in 2014, Mr Griffin assisted through the transition period as Centrepoint Alliance embarked on a board and governance renewal.
Centrepoint Alliance chairperson Rick Nelson said Mr Griffin was a key contributor to the rebuilding and strengthening of the group.
“Noel’s association with Centrepoint started as a customer in 1983, through the funding of his transport business with Centrepoint Finance, before joining the board in 2002,” he said.
“Initially, Noel contributed capital to expand the premium funding business, and has since supported the expansion of Centrepoint by providing a wealth of commercial knowledge and experience.”
Matthew Kidman has been appointed as a member and chairperson of the nomination, remuneration and governance committee to replace Mr Griffin.
Centrepoint Alliance offers mortgage aggregation, accountancy, financial advice, funds management and insurance funding.
