Queenslanders Credit Union was the winner of the Best Home Loans category with a score of 9.05 out of 10, with Heritage Bank, Newcastle Permanent, Bendigo Bank and ME rounding out the top five.
Queenslanders Credit Union was also named Best Credit Union at the awards with a score of 8.99, while ING Direct took out the Best Bank category for the sixth year in a row with a score of 9.05, and NAB was named Best Big 4 Bank for the fifth year running with a score of 7.96.
The Best Building Society award went to Greater Building Society with a score of 8.72, while Hume Bank was voted by customers as the Best Mutual Bank with a score of 9.30.
When it comes to customers’ favourite banking products, transaction and savings accounts topped the charts with scores of 8.19 and 8.11 respectively, while high-interest credit cards (7.10) and personal loans were the least loved (7.19).
Customers’ overall satisfaction with home loans scored 7.42 this year – down from 7.45 in 2014.
