Momentum Media is the driving force behind leading industry brands: Mortgage Business, The Adviser, and ifa, among a range of other industry and consumer-facing titles.
The company has this month launched a new jobs board, Mortgage & Finance Jobs, a centralised resource dedicated to helping recruit and fill mortgage jobs, employment and career opportunities.
The new jobs board has been launched to connect job seekers and recruiters from the finance space.
The Mortgage & Finance Jobs board enables active job seekers to find jobs within the mortgage industry by connecting them with highly relevant recruiters and employers working directly within the industry.
Any jobs connected to the mortgage and finance industry can be listed on the jobs board, for example mortgage broker positions, commercial finance brokers, credit analysts, or IT and compliance support.
More than 40 jobs are already active on the website.
The listings board comes as players in the finance space find it increasingly difficult to find qualified and experienced talent, while job seekers may find it difficult to navigate all the opportunities available to them.
Speaking of the launch of Mortgage & Finance Jobs, the commercial director of Mortgage & Finance at Momentum Media, Michael Magee, said: “In a tightening Job market, Momentum Media has launched Australia’s first dedicated Mortgage and Finance jobs board to help solve the recruitment challenges facing the industry.
"This resource will connect the right people with right roles within the mortgage broking communities of The Adviser and Mortgage Business, ultimately continuing to support and foster a healthy industry."
How it works
Candidates looking for positions are able to sign up for a free profile and navigate the jobs on offer.
The candidate profile includes key information such as CV, career overview and what they’re looking for. Candidate profiles can also be used to have employers passively contact them, should their skills match relevant positions.
Employers are able to set up an Employer profile that displays key details about their company, including company overview, social links, address, etc. They are then able to purchase standard or featured jobs packages for one, three, five or 10 jobs.
Jobs listings include an overview of the position, the location, salary bandings, experience requirements and details of how to apply.
Employers can choose to list jobs via standard listings or featured listings. Standard listings are displayed on the website for 31 days, while ‘featured’ listings are posted on the website and are promoted in The Adviser and Mortgage Business daily news bulletins and social media pages.
Employers then have access to how many times their profile is viewed and how many applicants they are receiving for each job listing.
Annual packages with premium support and longer listings are also available.
