The Thrive 25 Conference, hosted by Lendi Group at the ICC in Sydney today (25 March) revealed a refreshed strategy for Aussie.
“Find, Buy, Own” was the message put forward at the event, with new products and services announced to over 900 brokers.
The key themes announced by Aussie were:
- Aussie Homes: A new data-led search platform integrated into the Aussie App, Aussie Homes puts 11 million-plus properties, including pre-market listings, at customers’ fingertips and simplifies their property search. Customers can access free property reports, suburb profiles, and insights, as well as digital tools that drive valuable conversations with Aussie brokers. Real estate agents will also be able to connect their listings to Aussie Homes.
- Aussie Buyer’s Agents: With a bold ambition to operate the country’s largest buyer’s agent service, Aussie’s buyer’s agents help customers find and secure the right property whether it’s a first home or an investment. Backed by advanced data, exclusive off-market deals, and expert negotiation, Aussie Buyer’s Agents are on the buyer’s side through every step.
- Aussie Conveyancing: Aussie Conveyancing addresses a major pain point in the home buying journey by integrating conveyancing into the broking process, with real-time visibility and tracking for customers. Now a national proposition, Aussie Conveyancing will expand to include ‘sell-side’ conveyancing for customers (e.g. downsizers and upgraders).
- Aussie for Agents: A two-way platform to refer and connect Aussie customers who need to sell their property with top local agents who match their needs and a destination for agents to win and launch more high-value property listings, whether pre-market, off-market, or on-market. Aussie for Agents adds value for Aussie brokers and creates a more seamless experience from sell to buy.
- Live Equity with Open Banking: The latest addition to the Aussie App lays the groundwork for a fully transparent two-way mortgage monitor for brokers and their customers. Today, Live Equity provides the ability for all home owners in Australia to track their home, loan, and equity position so they are always informed on their next steps in their property journey. The first broking business to use open banking at this scale, Live Equity enhances customer experience as LVR, equity, or rate changes present new opportunities. The next release will be an “always on” financial health tracker” – a first for Australia.
- Seller Assist: When customers express an interest in selling, with Seller Assist, brokers can now offer a free comparison service connecting the customer with agents to match their needs. These leads are then distributed to the selected agents via the Aussie for Agents platform, allowing for direct agent-customer interactions for property appraisals.
Through these latest offerings, Lendi Group is expecting to see major growth in broker headcount throughout 2025.
CEO and co-founder David Hyman said the leveraging of this tech will help provide a more holistic service for borrowers and strengthen broker capabilities.
“By combining the strength of our broker network, trusted brand, and cutting-edge technology, we’re delivering what’s been missing – a truly buyer-centric experience at transformational scale,” said Hyman.
“Amid a housing affordability crisis, more Australians than ever before are turning to brokers for trusted advice. Now, AI, data and technology allow us to deliver more for customers. We are at the forefront of a major shift.
“If you think about the current landscape, the experience from starting your property search through to conveyancing, settlement and beyond – it’s not a simple journey. Customers get bounced between service providers, re-entering the same information, filling out duplicate forms, and dealing with unnecessary complexity. Our Find, Buy and Own journey is fully integrated, and enhanced with AI.”
At the conference, the latest AI-powered tools were given demonstrations. The latest version of Sandbox, available to brokers from Monday, saw the tech in action and the ability to streamline and automate the more tedious aspects of the trade.
There was also a demo on the capability of AI to track customer data and alert when refinancing is available, helping the broker provide a stronger service and removing the need for periodic check-ins. Even tasks like connecting with referral partners will be available through the platform.
Also demonstrated and coming soon is a bridging loan solution that will enable customers to buy before they sell.
Customers will be able to access in-app property reports and connect with buyers and real estate agents to better manage property needs.
Lendi Group will continue to announce products and services to help bolster broker and consumer support.
