La Trobe Financial appoints new execs

La Trobe Financial has announced Rowan Donohue’s appointment as COO after Brian Ford announced his resignation from said post.

Mr Donohue was previously the company’s chief legal counsel prior to this appointment.

Michael Watson will also be replacing Daryl Hill as executive head of major clients, while Martin Barry will be assuming the post of senior vice president and chief corporate treasurer.

Mr Watson was formerly La Trobe’s senior manager for client partnerships, while Mr Barry first joined the company as vice president, head of institutional mandates.

La Trobe Financial president and CEO Greg O’Neill commented on these new appointments, saying that “Following the appointment of these new executives to help lead the company, we are well positioned to continue our success as one of Australia’s most respected non-banks.”

La Trobe Financial is expected to make further comments in the next few days.
