People’s Choice Credit Union has announced the opening of home loan centres in the Victorian suburbs of Caroline Springs and Mernda.
According to the lender, the home loan centres are focused on meeting the demand of the growing number of homebuyers in Melbourne.
“Melbourne’s property market continues to be driven by strong demand, and we have seen pleasing increases in member numbers and our loan portfolio simply by focusing on offering competitive products and outstanding service,” People’s Choice CEO Steve Laidlaw said.
“We remain very confident of the outlook for People’s Choice in Victoria. Historically-low interest rates are available, and the state continues to enjoy strong underlying economic growth.”
The lender’s latest move in Victoria follows its strategic investment in Melbourne two years prior, when it opened a home loan centre in the suburb of Cranbourne and expanded its fleet of mobile home loan advisers, supported by its sponsorship of the Western Bulldogs AFL team.
“The results we have achieved have proved there is strong demand among Victorians for a genuine alternative to the major banks. We expect these two new centres at Caroline Springs and Mernda to continue that trend,” Mr Laidlaw added.
