Jaqueline Hey has officially assumed the role of chair of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, replacing Robert Johanson.

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank has farewelled Robert Johanson from the bank’s board.

“There are many people who contribute to the success of a company, but there are genuinely very few who can honestly claim to have individually influenced the direction of a company as much as Robert has in such a profound and impactful way,” she said.

“Robert is leaving the bank in a far bigger and better shape than when he started. The legacy he leaves will live on in the people and the culture of this company well beyond his departure.”

Bendigo has also announced the resignation of company secretary Will Conlan, who departs the role after eight year of service.

“On behalf of the board and the executive, we thank Will for his unwavering guidance and commitment,” Ms Hey added.

“We are pleased that Will is taking on the role of Chief of Staff and look forward to his continued support.”
