Vow Financial grows commercial team

Mortgage aggregator Vow Financial is expanding its commercial team with the appointment of a new division head.

The Yellow Brick Road-owned group announced that industry stalwart Glenn Mitchell has been appointed as head of commercial and leasing.

Mr Mitchell has had a successful career in the mortgage and finance industry for over 30 years, spending over 12 years on the MFAA council and three years as state president in Victoria before being appointed an Associate of the MFAA.

He spent five years at Plan Australia, originally to set up their commercial operations, followed by a role as regional manager, southern region looking after eight BDMs in Victoria, South Australia and WA.

“Being part of a dynamic, fast-growing organisation like Vow Financial allows me to facilitate my passion by helping brokers set up commercial lending into their practice,” Mr Mitchell said about the new role.

“Vow has a fantastic service proposition and I’m excited by the opportunity before me and believe there is plenty of potential within the Vow broker group,” he said.

"Glenn is a welcome addition to the Vow Financial family and our expansion plans of our commercial and leasing divisions nationally,” Vow chief executive Tim Brown said.

“His previous experience and knowledge of how to build a successful diversified financial services business will prove invaluable for our growth,” he said.
