AMP Capital appoints new property CIO

AMP Capital has named Adam Tindall as the new chief investment officer of its property investment business following the retirement of Andrew Bird.

Mr Tindall will take over from Mr Bird in March 2015.

Mr Bird, who has had a 37-year career in the property industry in the UK and Asia Pacific, has been responsible for AMP Capital’s property investment and management business since 2004.

“The promotion of Adam Tindall to the leadership team reflects the deep talent that exists within AMP Capital as well as the strength of our succession planning strategy,” AMP Capital chief executive Stephen Dunne said.
